chat chit
We exist to show that you can have normal conversations about mental health , where we understand how people have come through their experiences and learnt how to manage their mental health. We go off on many a tangent but the purpose is to focus on the things that might help you or where you might be able to relate with someone's experiences. We hope to normalise talking about your mental health whether you are having a good day or a bad day or on a day where you might not be sure how you feel.
Chat chit and the website Yormind exist to to try help young people in York and beyond to manage their mental health and direct them towards the support and services that would be best for them. Along the way there is a lot of chatting chit about all topics.
Chat chit is produced and edited by York Mind but the views and opinions expressed in the episode or of those being interviewed and the interviewer.
Trigger warning- Mental health and certain topics are covered on the podcast may be triggering so be mindful of this when listening.

Trigger warning - We do mention suicide between minutes 10:30 to 23.
What is the buzzer game I hear you ask! Well in this episode of chat chit we see whether you can have a serious conversation about mental health alongside chatting about who your first tv crush was. Every 20 minutes an alarm will go off and we will answer a completely random and unrelated question.
We welcome Elliot who is the area lead for Andy's man club to talk about his journey of mental health. From early life and moving south to emotive music and fantasy football. We weave all sorts of tangents to try and show you that having serious conversations about mental health doesn't have to always be so serious.
I dont quite believe that Elliot is 22 after learning everything that has gone on in his life over the last 10 years, but nether the less we get some fantastic insight into his story and the great work he is doing now with Andy mans club.
Do we sometimes overcomplicate mental health? Are certain people on social media detrimental to male mental health? Who was your first tv crush?
What's your go to takeaway order? These a just a few of the questions we try to answer in this episode of chat chit
Enjoy.
